A Dragon themed sweater and hat knitting pattern for ages 4 to 13 years.
Round neck Aran/Worsted Sweater and matching Hat.
The sweater features a dragon on the front and ribs knitted in 2 x 2 rib with contrast panels on the back and sleeves. The hat has flaps to keep those ears warm whilst searching for dragons!
Any Aran/Worsted yarn can be used so long as it matches the tension – 18 sts and 24 rows to 10 cm (4 inches) over stocking stitch using 5mm needles.
The garment shown is knitted in Hayfield Bonus Aran (Sandstorm 930) and Stylecraft Special Aran (Teal 1062) which is available from:
